Just an update!
Ok folks, this is just a little update! Things are going very well, and right now we are experiencing lots of smog. I guess it is just that time of year again. Lots of people in the mountains are burning things right now, so it is really bad. Over the past few days, my family and I have been doing a lot of cool things. On Thursday, I went to my friend Kate's house, and we had a little "party". It was awesome. We stayed there until 9:00 pm. (FYI, Her house is like a 30 second bike ride from my house, so I did not have to travel far.) Then on Friday, we went to a Mexican restaurant here in Chiang Mai, and I guess since the people who own it knew that Mexican food is a little bit spicy too, they put some spicy stuff in it. I had a barbecue pork burger, and that thing made my lips turn red, and my nose run. (For those of you who don't know, my reaction to pepper, is red lips and runny nose.) But it was still so good!!! Then later that night, we went to the Night Bazaar. It was awesome!!! And once again, I did not take pictures, so I can't show you how much fun we had, but just trust me when I say that we did a lot of walking. Then on Saturday, I sort of sat around the house, until that evening when I went out with my friend Pookie. We went to an Italian restaurant near our house, and had a great time! Well, that is about it for this update! If you have not already done so, look me up on Facebook, or follow me on twitter. TTYL!!!

Welcome to my blog!
Hello everyone! I hope that this new blog will give more people a chance to keep up with me. I am a missionary kid in Thailand, that speaks the Thai language, and wants to serve the Lord. I have been in Thailand for over a year now, and I am enjoying every minute of it. It is a joy to serve the Lord on the mission field.
What a day I had on Sunday! (This is just something that happened on Sunday at church.) My friends and I were eating together after church on Sunday. In Thailand, the food is very spicy. I knew that there were some little tiny peppers in the food, but as I was talking, I was not paying any attention to what I was putting on my spoon. Then, I done it! I took a bite and bit into a pepper, and it was like a bomb of spiciness just exploded in my mouth. Normally someone would just spit out the pepper, but I didn't, I swallowed it whole. I went to get some water and after about 30 minutes of drinking and sloshing water around in my mouth, it stopped burning. But that pepper was still in my stomach. I had a very bad stomachache until finally, I knew what I needed to do. I went straight to the bathroom and I was so happy when the pepper came back up. After that I was fine, but if you want to know how much that hurt, let's just say that I would have cried if I was not at church.
